John Abraham’s latest film, The Diplomat, which was released on March 14 during the Holi festival, has made an impressive start at the domestic box office. The film collected ₹4.03 crore on its opening day. Despite the festive celebrations of Holi and the ongoing Ramadan month, the film’s performance is considered strong, with expectations of further growth over the weekend.

She suffered physical abuse and sexual exploitation before Indian authorities intervened. The then-External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Deputy High Commissioner J.P. Singh played a crucial role in bringing her back to India. John Abraham portrays J.P. Singh in the film.
Cast and Production
Directed by Shivam Nair, the film features an ensemble cast, including John Abraham, Sadiya Khatib, Sharib Hashmi, Kumud Mishra, and Revathi in key roles. The film is jointly produced by John Abraham, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar (T-Series), Vipul D. Shah (Vakao Films), Ashwin Varde, Rajesh Bahl, along with Samir Dixit, Jatish Verma, and Rakesh Dang (Fortune Pictures/Cinita Films).
