“They Are Rattled”: Rekha Gupta Accuses AAP of Misusing Delhi’s Tax Money

AAP Walkout Over Ambedkar Portrait an Excuse to Avoid CAG Report: CM Gupta

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta launched a scathing attack on AAP leaders in the Vidhan Sabha, accusing them of misusing Delhi’s tax revenue for election campaigns in other states. Addressing the assembly, Gupta stated that AAP leaders are “rattled” by the release of the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) reports, which allegedly expose financial irregularities.

“They collected tax from Delhi and used it for elections in other states. Now that we are releasing the CAG reports one by one, they are rattled. They cannot even dare to sit in the house and listen to their own wrongdoings,” Gupta said.

She further criticized AAP for staging a walkout over the issue of Babasaheb Ambedkar’s portrait, calling it an “excuse” to avoid the discussion on the CAG reports. “The Narendra Modi government has ensured that Babasaheb Ambedkar gets the respect he deserves, which no previous government could do. This walkout is just an attempt to escape the facts written in the CAG reports,” she added.

Emphasizing her commitment to accountability, CM Rekha Gupta assured that no public funds would be misused under her leadership. “I will not allow even a single penny of the state treasury to go to waste,” she declared.
