In the Puna area of Surat, women from Shantiniketan Society gathered in large numbers to voice their concerns over a shocking incident in Amreli district. A young woman from Vitthalpur village was allegedly detained late at night without prior approval and subjected to public humiliation the following day. Reports claim she was also physically assaulted, sparking outrage among the community.

The women addressed a heartfelt letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, demanding justice for the victim and strict action against those involved.
