Indian startup Battery Electric Mobility has launched its new electric scooter, LOEV+, at an ex-showroom price of ₹69,999. The scooter is powered by a 2 kWh battery, and the company claims it delivers a range of up to 90 km on a full charge. LOEV+ will compete with Ola S1X and Okinawa Ridge Plus. The company plans to sell this scooter through 400 dealerships across 21 states.
Design & Features: Sporty Look with 5 Color Options
LOEV+ features a sporty design with sharp edges and dynamic styling. It comes with 12-inch alloy wheels and LED dual headlamps. The scooter is equipped with telescopic forks at the front and a rear monoshock for better ride comfort. For safety, it has a combined regenerative braking system with front and rear disc brakes.
It offers a ground clearance of 180 mm, and the handlebar integrates DRLs (Daytime Running Lights) for a modern look. LOEV+ will be available in five color options:
- Starlight Blue
- Stormy Gray
- Ice Blue
- Midnight Black
- Pearl White
Battery & Charging: Full Charge in 2 Hours 50 Minutes
LOEV+ is powered by a 2 kWh battery pack and comes with a 13A charger. Both the battery and charger are IP67-rated for dust and water resistance. The e-scooter supports fast charging, allowing it to reach full charge in just 2 hours and 50 minutes with the provided charger.
Performance: Three Riding Modes, 60 kmph Top Speed
Similar to Ola scooters, LOEV+ offers three riding modes:
- Eco Mode: Top speed of 35 kmph, range of 90 km
- Comfort Mode: Top speed of 48 kmph, range of 75 km
- Sports Mode: Top speed of 60 kmph, range of 60 km
Additional features include cruise control and hill-hold assist. The scooter operates on a CAN-enabled communication system, enhancing its efficiency and smart capabilities.
With its competitive pricing and advanced features, LOEV+ is set to challenge the Ola S1X and other budget-friendly electric scooters in the Indian market.
