AIR Healthtech is leading a movement to automate India’s inefficient
healthcare system with the power of AI and Deep Tech
At just 17 years old, Sarthak Chauhan cracked NEET and secured admission into ESIC Medical College, Alwar (Rajasthan) — a dream achieved by few. But what he discovered inside the corridors of the healthcare system would soon shape a mission far bigger than himself.
As a young medical student, Sarthak witnessed firsthand how fragmented and inefficient the healthcare ecosystem in India truly was — patients waiting endlessly for appointments, hospitals losing data between departments, and doctors burdened with paperwork rather than patient care.
In April 2024, driven by curiosity and compassion, Sarthak founded his first startup — Docsta Healthcare — a platform designed to bridge the gap between patients and doctors by making consultations more convenient and accessible. While running Docsta, he discovered something even deeper: the system wasn’t broken in parts — it was disconnected as a whole.
To solve this larger problem, Sarthak reached out to his school-time mentor and friend, Rajneesh Karanwal, an IIT dropout and tech visionary, to explore how automation and AI could rebuild healthcare from its roots. Their brainstorming sessions soon gave birth to a new-age deep-tech startup — AIR Healthtech.
The Problem:
A Scattered System Costing Time, Money, and Lives India’s healthcare
network suffers from a lack of connectivity, inefficiency, and long manual processes. From appointments, lab tests, and billing to insurance claims and hospital administration, almost every step involves manual data handling — creating frustration for patients and revenue losses for hospitals. Studies suggest that such inefficiencies can cost hospitals 20–30% of their annual revenue, while patients experience delayed care and a poor overall experience. The founders of AIR Healthtech saw this not just as a business problem — but as a human problem that technology must solve.
The Solution:
Building an End-to-End AI Automated Ecosystem AIR Healthtech is developing a complete AI-powered automation ecosystem that integrates hospitals, patients, diagnostic centers, insurance companies, and even pharmaceutical chains into one unified digital network.
Using Deep Tech, AI, and SaaS-based automation, the platform will enable hospitals to:
- Automate and optimize patient flow
- Speed up administrative tasks like billing, reporting, and claims
- Ensure seamless data connectivity between hospital departments
- Enable predictive analysis and real-time decision-making
- Reduce manual dependency and human error
Essentially, AIR Healthtech aims to make healthcare in India smart, predictive, and connected — transforming hospitals from reactive institutions into intelligent, self operating systems.
“We realized that healthcare doesn’t just need digitalization — it needs automation with empathy,” says founder Sarthak Chauhan.
“We’re not replacing people; we’re enabling them to focus on what matters most — saving lives.”
The Team Behind the Revolution AIR Healthtech is co-founded by Sarthak Chauhan, Rajneesh Karanwal, and Thansingh Kundara (also an MBBS student). Together, they bring the perfect blend of medical insight and technological innovation.
The trio represents a new generation of Indian founders — young, ambitious, and deeply aware of the realities of the healthcare industry. Their vision goes beyond innovation — it’s about building a system that heals itself.
The Future:
Collaboration, Scale, and Impact, With its R&D entering the final stages, AIR
Healthtech has started collaborating with some of India’s leading hospital chains, pharmaceutical companies, and insurance providers to strengthen and expand its intelligent healthcare ecosystem.
The goal is not just to automate systems, but to reimagine healthcare delivery in India —making it faster, transparent, and humane.
As India moves toward an AI-powered decade, AIR Healthtech is positioning itself as the driving force of healthcare automation — a revolution founded by doctors, powered by deep tech, and inspired by humanity.
