Initially set to clash with Akshay Kumar’s Kesari 2, the film’s makers decided to avoid a box office showdown by opting for a new date. However, the new release date coincides with Ajay Devgn’s Raid 2, presenting a fresh challenge for Bhootni at the box office.

Industry insiders suggest that filmmaker Karan Johar may have influenced the decision to delay the release. While the official reason cited is that some VFX work is still pending, many are skeptical.
