Chinese automobile manufacturer Build Your Dreams (BYD) has introduced the 2025 updated models of its electric SUV, Atto 3, and electric sedan, Seal, in the Indian market. The new models come with enhanced features and mechanical upgrades for improved performance and safety.
BYD claims that the Seal offers an impressive range of up to 650 km on a full charge, while the Atto 3 delivers a range of 521 km per charge. Both vehicles are equipped with 8 airbags and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) for added safety. The updated BYD Atto 3 will compete with the Tata Curvv EV and Hyundai Creta Electric, whereas the BYD Seal will rival the Hyundai Ioniq 5, Kia EV6, and Volvo C40 Recharge.
The company is set to announce the new pricing for both updated models in April. Since its launch, the Atto 3 has surpassed 3,000 unit sales in India. To reward early buyers, BYD is offering the 2025 Atto 3 at the 2024 ex-showroom price for the first 3,000 customers.
