This remarkable surge has re-established Gautam Adani among the world’s top 20 richest individuals, with his total net worth now standing at $73.5 billion. The Adani Group, one of the top three business entities globally, had experienced a notable drop in wealth earlier this year, with Adani’s total wealth decreasing by $5.24 billion. However, the recent spike in share value has reversed his fortunes.
Adani’s return to the top 20 list comes just a day after he had fallen off the rankings, highlighting the volatility and resilience of his business empire. According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Adani has once again become one of the highest-earning billionaires globally.

Leading the global wealth rankings, Elon Musk sits at the top with a net worth of $427 billion. Jeff Bezos follows in second place with $237 billion, while Mark Zuckerberg holds the third spot with $210 billion. Larry Ellison comes in fourth with $182 billion, and Bernard Arnault completes the top five with $179 billion.
In India, Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani has also seen a boost, with his wealth increasing by $85.6 million on Tuesday. Ambani now holds the 17th position globally, with a total net worth of $90.2 billion.
