Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, June 21, 2025 — The Government Dental College & Hospital (GDC), Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, the only government dental institution in the Marathwada region, has achieved a proud milestone by being officially recognized by the London Book of World Records for its exceptional contribution to public oral health.

GDC has been awarded the world record certification for organizing the “Largest Oral Health Awareness and Screening Campaign by a Government Dental Institution.” This large-scale initiative reached thousands of citizens, offering free oral examinations, guidance, and treatment. It significantly impacted not only public health awareness but also reinforced professional excellence, social responsibility, and community engagement in the field of dentistry.
