Renault Kiger, Triber, and Kwid Launched with CNG Kits: Price Increased by ₹79,500 with a Three-Year Warranty, Aiming for Eco-Friendly Models

Renault India, a subsidiary of the Renault Group, has introduced CNG retrofitment kit options for all models of the Kiger, Triber, and Kwid. These CNG-equipped cars have been relaunched with a three-year warranty. This initiative is aimed not only at expanding Renault’s customer base but also at providing environmentally friendly and efficient mobility solutions.

Renault India’s Managing Director and Country CEO, Venkatram M.A., stated, “We continuously strive to adopt new technologies and eco-friendly solutions.” In line with this vision, the company is now offering a government-approved CNG kit installation option across all its models.

Can Run on Both CNG and Petrol

Customers who install the CNG kit in their Renault vehicles will be able to operate them on both CNG and petrol. This initiative reflects Renault’s commitment to offering eco-conscious and cost-effective mobility solutions. The company believes this move will make Renault cars more accessible, practical, and appealing while strengthening its market presence in India.

CNG Kits Available for All Models Except Automatic and Turbo Variants

The CNG retrofitment kit will be available for all variants and models, except automatic and turbo variants. It is a retrofit kit installed through select authorized dealers. The kit is homologated, ensuring compliance with all safety and performance standards.

Renault has emphasized that the development and customization of the fitment process have been carried out with meticulous attention to detail. Even the smallest hardware components have been carefully considered. All components are packaged as a single kit to ensure standardized fitment and compliance across Renault’s network.
