Bengaluru, India – February 12, 2025: Bengaluru-based EV manufacturer Simple Energy has launched the Simple One Gen 1.5, an upgraded version of its flagship electric scooter. The scooter comes with a starting ex-showroom price of ₹1.66 lakh.
The company claims that the updated model offers an IDC-certified range of 248 km on a full charge, an improvement over the previous generation’s 212 km range.
The Simple One Gen 1.5 will compete with Ola S1 Pro Plus, Ather 450X, and TVS iQube ST in the Indian electric scooter market.
Additionally, Simple Energy has announced plans to expand its presence by setting up 150 new stores and 200 service centers across India by FY2026.
