Airtel and Vodafone Idea (Vi) have introduced new prepaid data-only plans that include a complimentary JioHotstar Mobile subscription. This launch follows Reliance Jio’s introduction of a similar plan earlier this month. The new plans serve as add-ons, meaning users must have an active base plan to access the data and streaming benefits.
The prepaid packs are now available on the respective telecom operators’ websites. JioHotstar Mobile was introduced last month following the merger of JioCinema and Disney+ Hotstar.
Airtel and Vi JioHotstar Mobile Bundled Plans: Complete Details
Airtel Prepaid Data Plans:
- ₹100 Plan: Offers 5GB total data and a 30-day JioHotstar Mobile subscription.
- ₹195 Plan: Includes 15GB total data with a 90-day JioHotstar Mobile subscription.
- Once the data limit is exhausted, additional usage will be charged at ₹0.50/MB.
Vi Prepaid Data Plans:
- ₹101 Plan: Provides 5GB data with a 30-day validity, but includes a JioHotstar Mobile subscription for 90 days.
- Vi also offers ₹151 and ₹169 plans, which provide 4GB and 8GB data, respectively, with 90 days of JioHotstar Mobile access.
Reliance Jio continues to offer JioHotstar Mobile benefits with its base prepaid plans, though data speeds reduce once the allocated limit is reached. Additionally, several OTT-bundled prepaid plans from Jio, Airtel, and Vi are available, catering to various user needs.
