Bharti Singh Shares Heartfelt Moment with Shah Rukh Khan, Gets Emotional

Comedian Bharti Singh recently opened up about a touching moment she had with Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan. On a popular comedy show, Bharti recalled how she was moved to tears when Shah Rukh Khan transformed into the character of ‘Lalli,’ a beloved figure from her childhood.

At the time, Bharti was still new to the industry and didn’t fully grasp the magnitude of Shah Rukh’s star power. She admitted having doubts about whether he could pull off the character, even asking him, “Sir, will you really wear the ‘Lalli’ outfit?” To her surprise, Shah Rukh not only agreed but insisted on getting every detail of the costume right. When he finally appeared as ‘Lalli,’ Bharti was overwhelmed with emotion and couldn’t hold back her tears.

Reflecting on her humble beginnings, Bharti shared, “I came from a poor family in Amritsar and had just moved to Mumbai. Here I was, asking Shah Rukh Khan for something, and he did it exactly as I asked.” She described that moment as a “golden day” in her life, forever cherishing the gesture of the Bollywood superstar. Bharti also confessed that she has always been a huge fan of Shah Rukh.

A viral video from the show, where Shah Rukh is dressed as ‘Lalli,’ has taken social media by storm. In the clip, Shah Rukh humorously comments, “People already don’t see me as a macho hero. After this, those who did will definitely change their minds.”

Shah Rukh Khan, who was last seen in the film Dunki, had an incredible year in 2023 with the success of Pathaan and Jawan. The actor is now gearing up for his next big release, King, which will hit theaters during the Eid festival in 2026, with his daughter Suhana Khan joining him in the film.
