Google has officially started rolling out Gemini Live’s live camera and screen sharing features to the Samsung Galaxy S25 and Google Pixel 9 series smartphones. These new capabilities enhance AI interactions by combining real-time visuals with on-device intelligence.

Gemini Live Gets Smarter With Real-Time Visual Context

Galaxy S25 users can now press and hold the side button to show Gemini what they see and ask real-time questions. Whether it’s picking an outfit from a closet or seeking home décor suggestions, Gemini’s camera feature offers context-aware AI assistance.

The screen sharing feature allows users to share their phone screen while browsing, enabling Gemini to provide recommendations or compare products more effectively — a perfect tool for online shopping, research, or productivity.

What’s more, users can combine both features for even smarter interactions. For example, you can show a clothing item through the camera and simultaneously share a webpage of accessories to get personalized pairing suggestions from Gemini.

Free for Galaxy S25 and Pixel 9 Users — Subscription Required for Others

Samsung has confirmed that both features will be available to Galaxy S25 users for free starting April 7th. Google has also begun the global rollout for Pixel 9 users.

However, users of other Android devices will need to subscribe to Gemini Advanced, part of the Google One AI Premium Plan, priced at ₹1,950/month in India. The plan includes 2TB of cloud storage, access to Gemini in Docs and Gmail, extended Google Meet call durations, unlimited Magic Eraser saves in Google Photos, and more.
