Surat News: On Saturday, April 12, 2025, Hanuman Jayanti is being celebrated with grandeur across the country and throughout Gujarat. In Surat, at the Atal Ashram in the Pal area, a colossal 6,000 kg bundi ladoo was prepared for Lord Hanuman. This giant ladoo was offered as prasadam to Hanumanji, and it will be distributed to devotees throughout the day.
6,000 kg Giant Ladoo for Hanumanji
Hanuman Jayanti is being celebrated in a grand manner across several cities in Gujarat today, April 12. At the Hanuman temple in Atal Ashram, Surat, preparations for the 6,000 kg ladoo had been underway since April 9. On this Saturday, the ladoo was offered to Lord Hanuman as prasadam, and now it will be distributed to the devotees throughout the day.
The head of the Ashram mentioned, “Last year, on the occasion of the Ashram’s 50th anniversary, we prepared a ladoo weighing 5,555 kg for Lord Hanuman. This year, a 6,000 kg bundi ladoo has been made, which contains 2,000 kg of besan, 2,000 kg of sugar, 80-90 cans of ghee and oil, 100 kg of dry fruits, and 2,000 kg of bundi and gathiya. We have made arrangements for 30 devotees to share the prasadam together.”
