Honda Cars India Limited (HCIL) is all set to launch the much-awaited Dark Edition of its popular SUV, the Elevate. The production version of this special edition was recently spotted during testing. According to Autocar India, the Elevate Dark Edition will be launched on January 7.
Honda will offer two variants of the Elevate Dark Edition: the Elevate Black Edition and the Elevate Signature Black Edition. Both variants will showcase a dark black color theme with cosmetic updates. While Honda has not revealed details about the interior, it is expected that the cabin will follow a dark theme as well.
The company claims that the car will deliver a mileage of 17 km per liter of petrol. The new edition will compete with rivals like the Kia Seltos X-Line, Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo Edition, Volkswagen Taigun GT-Line, MG Astor Black Storm Edition, and Hyundai Creta N-Line in the Indian market.
Priced Between ₹60,000-75,000 More Than the Base Variant The Elevate Dark Edition will be based on the higher-end ZX variant and is expected to be priced ₹60,000-75,000 more than the base variant. The starting price is expected to be around ₹17.20 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The car will feature automatic climate control, connected car technology, and Honda’s Level-2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) among other features.
