The Government of India has taken decisive action, banning 16 Pakistani YouTube channels, including prominent ones like Dawn News, Samaa TV, Ary News, and Geo News. This move follows the channels’ dissemination of provocative and communally sensitive content, aimed at spreading false narratives and misleading the public about India, its Army, and security agencies. The ban is particularly tied to the tragic terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.

On April 22, around 2 pm, a terror attack occurred near the Baisaran meadow, a popular tourist spot in Pahalgam, leaving the nation shaken. The situation remains tense along the Line of Control, with security forces intensifying anti-terror operations in Kashmir. In response, Prime Minister Narendra Modi vowed that India would not rest until justice is served, issuing a stern warning to pursue the terrorists “to the ends of the earth.”

Meanwhile, the National Investigation Agency (NIA), which had been at the Pahalgam site since April 23, has escalated its investigation. Senior officials, including an IG, DIG, and SP, are questioning eyewitnesses and collecting evidence from the site of the attack. At the same time, the Indian Army remains on high alert, conducting multiple search operations to neutralize the terrorists responsible.

The attack has sparked widespread outrage across the country, with numerous protests calling for stricter action against Pakistan. The demand for justice is resonating nationwide, and the government’s firm response underscores its determination to tackle the growing threat of terrorism at its roots.
