Kia EV6 Facelift Launched in India at ₹65.9 Lakh: Premium Electric SUV with 663 km Range & 27 Advanced Safety Features

Kia India has launched the facelifted EV6, its premium electric SUV, in the Indian market. The updated model is available in a single GT-Line variant with all-wheel drive (AWD), priced at ₹65.9 lakh (ex-showroom, India)—the same as its pre-facelift version.

The Korean automaker has confirmed that a rear-wheel-drive (RWD) variant will be introduced later. The EV6 is powered by an 84kWh battery pack, with Kia claiming a range of over 663 km on a single charge. The facelifted model also features cosmetic upgrades and is equipped with 27 advanced safety features.

Kia India opened bookings in January 2024, and the 2025 Kia EV6 competes with the Hyundai Ioniq 5, Volvo C40 Recharge, Mercedes-Benz EQA, and BMW iX1. It was showcased at the India Mobility Global Expo in January 2025.

Kia EV6 Facelift: Dimensions & Design Updates

The car’s dimensions remain unchanged:

  • Length: 4,695 mm

  • Width: 1,890 mm

  • Height: 1,550 mm

  • Wheelbase: 2,900 mm

Notable design changes include:

  • Triangular LED daytime running lamps replacing the previous design.

  • Subtle modifications to the lower grille and bumper, enhancing its appeal.

  • Minor updates to the taillights and rear bumper for a refreshed look.

Kia EV6 Facelift: Interior Enhancements

  • The two-spoke steering wheel now features Kia’s updated logo on the right side.

  • A fingerprint sensor has been added for keyless ignition.

  • The heads-up display (HUD) and digital rear-view mirror have been improved.

  • AI-powered navigation support enhances the driving experience.

  • The curved panoramic screen remains, featuring two 12.3-inch displays for the instrument cluster and infotainment system.

  • Additional features include wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, ambient lighting, a wireless charger, a digital key, vehicle-to-load (V2L) capability, and over-the-air (OTA) software updates.

Kia EV6 Facelift: Safety Features

  • The pre-facelift EV6 received a 5-star Euro NCAP safety rating (tested in 2022).

  • The Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) suite includes:

    • Forward, rear, and blind-spot collision avoidance assist.

    • Reversing camera system.

    • Front and rear parking sensors.

With its premium features, extended range, and advanced safety systems, the Kia EV6 facelift remains a strong contender in the luxury electric SUV segment.
