Motorola to Launch First Notebook Along with Smartphone and Tablet: AI-powered ‘Edge 60 Stylus’ Smartphone to Feature 4 Cameras, Starting at ₹25,000

Tech company Motorola is set to launch three new products on April 17: a smartphone, a tablet, and a laptop. The highlight of the launch will be the Motorola Edge 60 Stylus smartphone, part of the Edge series. Along with this, the company will also unveil the Moto Pad 60 Pro (tablet) and the Moto Book 60 (laptop).

Motorola Edge 60 Stylus

Motorola claims that this will be its best smartphone yet, featuring Dolby Atmos sound and a pOLED display. The phone comes with a 50MP Sony LYT-700C primary sensor, IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, a 5000mAh battery, 8GB of RAM, and 68W fast charging.

The launch event will take place at 12 PM. Motorola has already made the product page live on its official website and Flipkart, where the launch will be live-streamed.

Stylus Can Transform Basic Sketches into Professional Images

The Motorola Edge 60 Stylus features a stylus pen for drawing, which is how it got its name. When users create sketches using the AI-powered stylus, they can be transformed into professional-quality images with the help of AI.

Expected Starting Price: ₹25,000

Motorola is offering this smartphone in a single storage variant: 8GB of RAM with 256GB of storage, expandable up to 1TB. The price is expected to start at ₹25,000, and it will be available in two color options: Pantone Surf the Web and Pantone Gibraltar Sea.

Motorola Edge 60 Stylus: Specifications

  • Cameras: The rear panel features four cameras. The main camera is a 50MP Sony LYTIA 700C sensor, paired with a 13MP ultra-wide camera, a 3-in-1 light sensor, and a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calls.

  • Display: The phone comes with a 6.7-inch pOLED display with a 2712×1220 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 3000 nits peak brightness. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

  • Operating System & Processor: The device runs on Android 15 and is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor (4xA78 2.4GHz + 4xA55 1.8GHz octa-core CPU).

  • Battery: It has a 5000mAh battery, which Motorola claims can provide up to 35 hours of backup on a full charge. The phone also supports 68W turbo charging.

Motorola is also launching the ‘Moto Book 60’ (Laptop) and ‘Moto Pad 60 Pro’ (Tablet):

Moto Book 60 (Laptop)

This will be Motorola’s first-ever notebook. It is a lightweight laptop weighing just 1.4 kg, with a 14-inch OLED display offering a 2.8K resolution and 500 nits peak brightness.

The laptop runs on an Intel Core i7 processor and comes with a 60Wh battery that supports 60W charging. For sound, it is equipped with dual stereo speakers powered by Dolby Atmos.

Moto Pad 60 Pro (Tablet)

Designed for users who prefer a large, high-quality display and strong performance, the Moto Pad 60 Pro comes with a 12.7-inch LCD screen offering 3K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate.

It runs on Android 15 and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 chipset, with a 10,200mAh battery supporting 45W fast charging. For audio, the tablet is equipped with JBL speakers.
