Nothing has released a new Nothing OS V3.0-250218-1552 update for the Nothing Phone (1), bringing new features and system improvements. The update includes Google’s Circle to Search, allowing users to search for anything on their screen with a simple gesture. Additionally, a power-off password verification feature has been introduced to prevent unauthorized shutdowns, enhancing device security.
Key Features of the Nothing OS Update
1. Circle to Search Integration
Now available on the Nothing Phone (1) after previously launching on other Nothing devices.
To enable it, go to Settings > Special Features > Gestures > Navigation Mode > Circle to Search.
Activate by long-pressing the Home button or the navigation bar.
2. Power-Off Password Verification
Prevents unauthorized shutdowns by requiring a password before powering off the device.
Useful in case of theft or loss.
To enable, go to Settings and search for “Power off verify”.
3. New Wallpapers & UI Optimizations
A fresh collection of wallpapers for a new look.
