OnePlus has officially announced through a Weibo post that it will expand its Ace 5 series with two new variants: the OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra (Supreme Edition) and the Ace 5 Pro Racing Edition. While the exact launch date has yet to be revealed, the post confirms the chipsets powering these upcoming models and shares some key specifications.
OnePlus Ace 5 Series: What We Know So Far
The OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition will be equipped with the new MediaTek Dimensity 9400e chipset, making it the second device to use this processor after the Realme GT 7. The Ace 5 Ultra, on the other hand, will feature the more powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset, which also powers devices like the OPPO Find X8s, Find X8 Plus, and Vivo X200s.
As with previous Ace series models, both the Ace 5 Ultra and Ace 5 Racing Edition are expected to be exclusive to the Chinese market. The Weibo announcement highlighted that both phones will offer a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals. The Racing Edition will come with a Full HD (1080p) display, while the Ace 5 Ultra is rumored to sport a higher-resolution 1.5K panel.
OnePlus also teased competitive pricing, suggesting that the Ace 5 Racing Edition will be priced under CNY 2,500 (approximately Rs 29,700), aiming to offer strong value in its segment.
OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra Details
The Ace 5 Ultra recently surfaced on Geekbench with the model number PLC110, scoring 2,779 points in single-core and 8,660 points in multi-core tests. The device will run Android 15 paired with 16GB RAM.
Leaks indicate the Ultra model could feature a large 6.83-inch LTPS OLED display and pack a substantial 7,000mAh battery with support for 100W wired fast charging. For cameras, the phone may include a 50MP dual rear camera setup and a 16MP front-facing selfie camera.
OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition Details
The Ace 5 Racing Edition is expected to sport a slightly smaller 6.77-inch LTPS OLED screen. The camera setup is rumored to be similar to the Ultra model’s, with a 7,000mAh battery as well, but charging speeds may be limited to 80W.
Since the Ace series traditionally targets the Chinese market, it is likely that these new Ace 5 variants will not be officially available outside China.
