Samsung’s New AI Camera Filters Set to Arrive on Galaxy S24, S23, and Foldables with One UI 7 Update

Samsung Galaxy S25’s AI Camera Filters Could Arrive on Older Galaxy S and Z-Series Phones

The AI Filters in Camera feature has been spotted in the changelog for One UI 7 Beta 4 for the Galaxy S24 series.

It appears to be a software-based feature that doesn’t require significant processing power, meaning it will likely be available on flagship devices eligible for the One UI 7 update.

Samsung recently introduced the Galaxy S25 series, which comes with incremental upgrades over its predecessor, alongside new software features like the AI Filter in Camera. This feature is similar to the photographic styles found on the iPhone 16 series, allowing users to style the final image. According to reports, this feature is expected to arrive on the Galaxy S24 series as indicated in the One UI 7 Beta 4 changelog. It’s important to note that the Galaxy S25 series are the only devices currently running the latest software version.

One UI 7-Compatible Galaxy S and Z-Series Phones to Get AI Filters in Camera

Tipster Tarun Vats shared an image of the One UI 7 Beta 4 changelog on X, confirming the addition of AI Filters in the camera app for the Galaxy S24 series. The stable version of this feature is expected to roll out in the coming months.

In a separate tweet, Vats also revealed that the AI filter will likely be made available to other flagship Galaxy S and Z-series phones eligible for the One UI 7 update. This means the feature could arrive on older models like the Galaxy S23, S22, and S21 series, as well as foldable devices such as the Z Fold 3, Z Flip 3, and newer models.

Additionally, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is gaining support for LOG video recording with the One UI 7 Beta 4 update. LOG video recording allows for raw footage, which is ideal for color grading and post-processing.

For those unfamiliar with AI Filters in Camera, these are essentially presets. On the Galaxy S25 series, Samsung is giving users the option to adjust color temperature, saturation, contrast, grain, and more for each filter, allowing for greater customization of the final image.
