Skoda Prepares to Expand Its SUV Lineup in India
Czech automaker Skoda is set to introduce its premium SUV, the Kodiaq, to the Indian market. Expected to launch in April 2025, the Kodiaq will compete directly with D-segment SUVs like the Toyota Fortuner and MG Gloster.

Premium Features and Stylish Design
The upcoming Skoda Kodiaq will feature a bold, blacked-out front grille, newly designed alloy wheels, side cladding, LED DRLs, and sleek headlights. At the rear, it will sport distinctive C-shaped LED taillights. Inside, the SUV will offer a premium black-themed cabin, a 13-inch infotainment system, and a 10-inch digital instrument cluster. Additionally, it is expected to come with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and other cutting-edge safety features.

Powerful Engine for a Dynamic Driving Experience
The Kodiaq will be powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, producing 190 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque. It will also feature a 4X4 drivetrain and a 7-speed DCT transmission, ensuring a powerful and smooth driving experience.

Expected Price and Launch Details
While the official pricing will be revealed at the time of launch, the Skoda Kodiaq is expected to be priced around ₹40 lakh (ex-showroom). The SUV was showcased at the Auto Expo in January 2025, generating significant excitement ahead of its official debut.
