Key Highlights:
- The Vivo X200 Ultra may debut in India following the strong demand for the Vivo X200 Pro.
- The phone is expected to feature a 200MP telephoto camera.
- It could share the same ultrawide and primary camera sensors as its predecessor.
Vivo introduced the Vivo X200 Pro and Vivo X200 in India late last year, and now reports suggest that the Vivo X200 Ultra could also launch in the country. This high-end flagship would be the most premium model in the X200 series. Additionally, rumors indicate that the Vivo X200 Pro Mini might also make its way to India. Here’s what we know so far.
Vivo X200 Ultra India Launch: What to Expect
According to Businessworld (BW), Vivo India is actively pushing for the launch of the Vivo X200 Ultra and Vivo X200 Pro Mini in the country. While there have been prior reports about the Pro Mini’s arrival, this is the first indication that the Ultra variant is also under consideration for India.
Unlike the Vivo X200 Pro Mini, the X200 Ultra has not yet been officially unveiled. This means its launch timeline remains uncertain. For reference, the Vivo X100 Ultra was introduced in China in May 2024 but never made it to the Indian market.
During MWC 2025, Vivo executives reportedly informed their partners about the strong demand for the Vivo X200 Pro in India, leading to additional stock orders from its factories. This demand may have encouraged Vivo India to push its headquarters for the X200 Ultra’s release in the country.
