Vivo has officially announced the date for its upcoming launch event in China, scheduled for April 21st. The event will see the debut of several new products, including the Vivo X200 Ultra, X200s, Vivo Pad 5 Pro, Pad SE, and Vivo Watch 5. These devices will expand the Vivo X200 lineup, which originally launched in October 2023 with the X200, X200 Pro, and X200 Pro Mini.

Vivo X200 Ultra: Premium Build with Advanced Camera System

The Vivo X200 Ultra has been teased in a Silver Rimowa Edition, featuring vertical stripes on the back panel inspired by the luxury luggage brand. It will also be available in a Red leather-like finish. A dedicated blue-accented camera button adds to its premium look.

The device retains the 200MP Samsung HP9 periscope camera seen in the Vivo X100 Ultra but comes with a larger aperture for improved light capture. It is confirmed to support 4K video at 120fps and will house dual dedicated imaging chips for enhanced processing.

According to leaks, the X200 Ultra will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 (Elite Edition) and feature a 6,000mAh battery with support for 90W wired and 50W wireless charging. A hands-on video shows a bulkier frame and a large circular rear camera module.

Vivo X200s: Compact Flagship with Dimensity 9400+

The Vivo X200s will be the first smartphone to feature MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+ SoC, which itself is set to launch on April 11th. It will be available in Black, White, Lavender, and Mint Blue color options.

Leaked specs suggest the phone will have a 6.67-inch flat display with 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. It is expected to feature three 50MP cameras, including a periscope lens with 3x optical zoom. Powering the device will likely be a 6,200mAh battery with 90W wired and 40W wireless charging support.

More Devices to Launch Alongside

Also expected at the event:

  • Vivo Pad 5 Pro

  • Vivo Pad SE

  • Vivo Watch 5

While details remain limited, these additions aim to strengthen Vivo’s ecosystem in the premium device space.

Global Availability Yet to Be Announced

Vivo launched the X200 in India starting at Rs 65,999, but the company has not confirmed if the X200 Ultra, X200s, or other new products will launch globally.
