The device will join the existing Y300 lineup, which includes the Y300 5G, Y300 Plus, and Y300 Pro.
Vivo Y300i Key Specifications
According to the China Telecom listing, the Vivo Y300i (model number V2444A) will feature a 6.68-inch HD+ display, which appears to be a downgrade from the FHD+ panel seen on its predecessor. The phone will sport a flat-frame design with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button. On the back, it features a circular camera module housing a 50MP primary sensor, accompanied by a secondary lens. For selfies, the device is listed with a 5MP front camera.
Under the hood, the Vivo Y300i will be powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset (SM4450), the same processor found in the Vivo Y200i. It will be available in three RAM and storage configurations:
- 8GB RAM + 256GB storage – priced at CNY 1,499 (~$205)
- 12GB RAM + 256GB storage – priced at CNY 1,699 (~$235)
- 12GB RAM + 512GB storage – priced at CNY 1,799 (~$245)
One of the key upgrades in the Vivo Y300i is the 6,500mAh battery, an improvement over the 6,000mAh unit found in last year’s Y200i. The phone is expected to support 44W fast charging.
The device will be available in Ink Jade Black, Rime Blue, and Titanium color options.
Will the Vivo Y300i Launch in India?
Since the Vivo Y200i did not launch in India, it is unlikely that the Y300i will make its way to the country. However, Vivo may introduce other models from the Y300 series for the Indian market. More details are expected in the coming weeks.
