A mysterious OnePlus TWS earphone has been spotted on the FCC certification site. Notably, this same device had received TÜV Rheinland certification back in November. The latest listing sheds light on the battery capacity of the upcoming earbuds.
New OnePlus TWS Earbuds Listed on FCC
- The OnePlus TWS earphones listed on FCC (via) carry the model number E513A.
- The certification confirms them as wireless earbuds.
- The charging and storage case (model number 801830PF8-1) features a 530mAh battery.
- The earbuds (model number 122570B) are powered by a 62mAh battery unit.
- While the certification does not explicitly reveal the name, it is rumored to be the OnePlus Nord Buds 3r.
Why It Could Be the OnePlus Nord Buds 3r
- The Nord Buds 2r had the model number E510A.
- The OnePlus Buds Pro 3 and Nord Buds 3 carried model numbers E512A and E514A, respectively.
- Following this pattern, the Buds 3r (E513A) could feature a significant battery upgrade over the Buds 2r, which had a 480mAh charging case and 36mAh earbuds.
- The FCC listing also confirms the E513A will include a 0.2m USB-C cable and Bluetooth support.
The FCC certification does not reveal any additional details about the OnePlus E513A, and information regarding the Nord Buds 3r remains limited. However, since the Nord Buds 2r debuted in July 2023 at Rs 2,199, an upgrade is long overdue.
