Shiv Mahapurana Katha is currently being held on Kharwasa Road in Surat, with renowned storyteller Pandit Pradeep Mishra delivering the discourse. On January 20, 2025, during his session, he cautioned the women and young women present, saying, “If you fall into the trap of the wrong person, you will end up with nothing but pieces in the fridge.” He emphasized that while a Sanatan home may be humble, its true value lies in the purity of heart, and such a home will always show respect.

Addressing Social Issues from the Vyaspeeth

Pandit Pradeep Mishra, while sharing the teachings of the Shiv Mahapurana, also discussed the social issues affecting society today. Referring to the rising incidents of “Love Jihad” in the country, he warned women to be cautious and understand the value of a home based on true, sincere individuals. He cautioned, “If you get trapped by the false glitter of someone’s mansion, be prepared to end up with pieces in the fridge.” He urged everyone to stay vigilant and avoid falling victim to such deceitful acts.

Hinting at the Growing Issue of Love Jihad

Pandit Mishra indirectly referred to the rising cases of Love Jihad, where young men hide their religion and deceive women into marriage, leading to betrayal. He highlighted that many women have tragically lost their lives due to such deceptive acts. He stressed the importance of staying aware and avoiding falling into these dangerous traps.

Pandit Pradeep Mishra was born in 1980 in the Sehore district of Madhya Pradesh. He completed his education up to graduation and has a family consisting of two brothers, a wife, and children. Pandit Mishra has been narrating stories in temples since his childhood, with a special focus on Shiv Puran. His teachings have gained him widespread fame, and today, he has millions of followers.
