Gautam Adani Attends Maha Kumbh, Serves Food at ISKCON Canteen; PM Modi to Visit on February 5
Industrialist Gautam Adani arrived at the Maha Kumbh today, where he participated in the rituals at Sangam, followed by offering prayers at Bade Hanuman Ji. He also served food at the ISKCON canteen and had a meal there himself.
Meanwhile, the ATS has started testing the waters of the Ganga at the Maha Kumbh. Although water testing was previously conducted at Sangam, now the ATS and a team of doctors are involved in the process. Today marks the 9th day of the Maha Kumbh, with 16 lakh devotees having taken a dip by 8 AM. So far, over 8.5 crore devotees have taken the holy dip.
In the coming days, several prominent figures are expected to visit the Maha Kumbh. Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar visited on February 1, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit on February 5, and President Droupadi Murmu is expected on February 10.
In other developments, Harsha Richharia will now stay with the Niranjani Akhara, instead of the previously planned Kailashanand Akhara. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will hold a Cabinet meeting at the Maha Kumbh tomorrow, and several ministers are expected to attend.
Amidst these events, the Railways faced a major disruption as 29 long-distance trains were suddenly canceled before two major festivals—Mouni Amavasya and Vasant Panchami.
