Residents of Gujarat should brace themselves for rising temperatures as the Meteorological Department has predicted a 2-3 degree increase in the next two days.

Currently, Gujarat is experiencing mixed weather conditions, with chilly mornings and warm nights. As temperatures gradually rise, it signals the slow arrival of summer. The Meteorological Department has once again issued a forecast regarding the increasing heat.
Meteorological Department’s Forecast
According to the latest prediction, the activation of a Western Disturbance on February 24 will lead to a rise in temperature. Ahmedabad is currently recording a maximum temperature of 33.7°C, while Rajkot has reached 36.7°C.
Winter’s Gradual Departure
Meteorologist Paresh Goswami stated that this winter has been relatively normal, with expected cold spells. However, the season is now slowly coming to an end, giving way to rising temperatures. Due to the seasonal transition, cases of cold, cough, and fever have also increased among people.
