Togadia Urges Government to Take Stern Action for Hindu Protection, Signals Tough Stance Against Bangladesh

Surat: Pravin Togadia, President of the International Hindu Council (AHP), met with leaders from various communities on Thursday (January 2) to discuss preparations for the upcoming Kumbh Mela and other important matters related to the protection of Hindus. During the meeting, Togadia emphasized that to ensure the safety of Hindus, the community would be ready to utilize both legal and physical measures, if necessary.

Togadia expressed concern over the increasing atrocities faced by Hindus in Bangladesh. He stated, “Once we raised our voices, Pakistan was split into two. If we raise our voices now, Bangladesh will be divided into four parts.” He criticized the current situation in Bangladesh and urged the Indian government to take swift action, hoping that leaders like Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, and Rajnath Singh would take the necessary steps against Bangladesh. “The time has come for us to show our strength against Bangladesh,” he added.

He further assured that his efforts to protect Hindus would continue, including mobilizing communities at the grassroots level. He emphasized the importance of ensuring Hindu safety, suggesting that villages should begin reciting the Hanuman Chalisa and work to protect Hindu communities. He mentioned that, if required, the AHP would use both legal means and, if necessary, physical force to safeguard the interests of Hindus.

Togadia also shared details about the AHP’s efforts to prepare for the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj, where millions of devotees are expected to gather. The council has arranged tea and snacks for over a lakh of people daily, along with hot water for drinking. Additionally, 100,000 blankets will be distributed, and accommodation arrangements are being made for 8,000 individuals.

Togadia’s statements have sparked significant discussion on the protection of Hindus and the situation in Bangladesh, as he advocates for firm action to ensure the security and unity of the Hindu community.
