Vivo Gears Up for Another Mid-Range Contender

Vivo is preparing to introduce the Vivo V50e in India, further expanding its smartphone lineup. According to industry reports, the phone is expected to launch in the first week of April and will feature specifications similar to the Vivo V40e, which debuted earlier this year. The handset has already been spotted on certification platforms, hinting at an imminent release.

What to Expect from the Vivo V50e?

The Vivo V50e is expected to arrive in Sapphire Blue and Pearl White color options. In terms of specifications, leaks suggest it will feature a 6.77-inch 1.5K quad-curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone will reportedly be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.

Camera & Battery Upgrades

For photography, the device is said to sport a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor alongside an 8MP ultra-wide lens on the back. On the front, Vivo is likely to retain the 50MP selfie camera, similar to the Vivo V40e.

The Vivo V50e may house a 5,600mAh battery with 90W fast charging, offering a slight upgrade over its predecessor. Other key features include an in-display fingerprint sensor and IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance.

Vivo V50e Price in India (Expected)

Reports suggest that the Vivo V50e could be priced between ₹25,000 and ₹30,000, making it a competitive offering in the mid-range segment. For reference, the Vivo V40e launched at ₹28,999 for the base model.

With its premium design, AI-powered cameras, and fast-charging capabilities, the Vivo V50e could be a strong contender in the sub-₹30,000 smartphone category. More details are expected to be confirmed as the official launch date approaches.
