Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel visited Prayagraj on February 7 during the grand Maha Kumbh Mela. His visit was marked by devotion and traditional rituals as he sought blessings for Gujarat’s prosperity.
Ritual at Bade Hanumanji Temple
Patel began his spiritual journey by visiting the revered Bade Hanumanji Temple, known for its distinctive idol of Lord Hanuman in a reclining posture. The temple holds immense significance for Hindu devotees. Patel offered prayers and performed a special puja at the site.
Holy Dip at Triveni Sangam
After the temple prayers, the Chief Minister proceeded to the sacred Triveni Sangam, where the Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati rivers meet. Taking part in the ritualistic holy dip, Patel highlighted the spiritual significance of the act, which is believed to wash away sins and bestow divine blessings.
The Maha Kumbh Mela is one of the largest religious gatherings in the world. Leaders and pilgrims from across the country converge at Prayagraj during this event to seek divine blessings and celebrate spiritual unity.
