During a joint press statement with Chilean President Gabriel Boric, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi reaffirmed the commitment of both nations to strengthening defence, security, and global stability.
“We will collaborate to develop defence industrial manufacturing and supply chains tailored to each other’s needs,” PM Modi stated. “Furthermore, we will enhance cooperation between our agencies to combat organized crime, drug trafficking, and terrorism.”
On global issues, both leaders emphasized the importance of peaceful conflict resolution. “India and Chile agree that all tensions and disputes should be resolved through dialogue. We also recognize the urgent need for reforms in the United Nations Security Council and other international institutions to address global challenges effectively,” Modi added. “Together, we will continue working toward global peace and stability.”
