“Hindus Were Targeted, Terrorists Must Be Taught a Lesson, Merge POK with India”: Baba Ramdev Condemns Pahalgam Terror Attack

New Delhi: The recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, has triggered nationwide outrage. On Tuesday, terrorists opened indiscriminate fire on a group of tourists, killing 28 people and injuring many others. There are growing allegations of Pakistan’s involvement in the incident.

Yoga guru Baba Ramdev expressed deep sorrow over the attack and strongly condemned the perpetrators. He called for decisive action against terrorism and urged the Indian government to merge Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (POK) with India.

“Attackers Asked About Religion Before Killing Hindus”

Speaking on the incident, Baba Ramdev said, “In Pahalgam, the terrorists specifically targeted Hindus after asking their religion. This attack was carried out to disturb the harmony between Hindus and Muslims in India. The terrorists want to incite communal conflict in every neighborhood and street. This is one of the most targeted and horrifying terror attacks against Hindus in recent times.”

“Terrorists Aim to Spark Riots and Civil War”

He further added, “The goal of these terrorists is to ignite riots and push the country toward civil war. But the citizens of India will not allow their evil intentions to succeed. Every Indian must now stand united, like a soldier, to defend the nation.”

Baba Ramdev emphasized the importance of unity, saying, “There are two types of Muslims in India—one group respects the Quran, Islam, and the integrity of India, while the other promotes extremism, violence, and hatred. The latter is a threat to peace and harmony.”

“POK Should Be Merged with India”

Calling for strategic action, Baba Ramdev said, “Anti-India activities are being supported from across the border, and terrorist groups are being funded by Pakistan. I urge the Government of India to take firm steps—merge POK with India and dismantle the terrorist camps operating there. Enemy nations are closely watching India. It is time to send them a strong message.”
