This joint operation, conducted by Odisha and Chhattisgarh security forces, involved approximately 1,000 personnel. - Clashes and Recoveries: The encounter began yesterday morning and resulted in the recovery of 14 Naxalite bodies, including that of a woman. Automatic weapons and other equipment were seized from the site.
- High-Profile Targets: Among those killed were Naxalite Odisha state president Jairam alias Chalapati, carrying a bounty of ₹1 crore, and CCM members Manoj and Guddu.
- Injuries on Both Sides: A security personnel was injured during the clash and was airlifted to Raipur for treatment.
