‘License Granted to Such Forces’: MEA Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal on Jaishankar’s Security Breach

Addressing the security breach involving External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar in London by Khalistani extremists, Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal expressed deep concern on March 7.

“We have conveyed our strong concerns to UK authorities regarding the security lapse caused by UK-based separatist and extremist elements during the EAM’s visit. This incident highlights a broader issue—it underscores both the freedom granted to such forces and the indifference towards their intimidation, threats, and actions aimed at obstructing our legitimate diplomatic activities in the UK,” Jaiswal stated.

He further emphasized that while India has noted the statement issued by the UK Foreign Office, its sincerity will be assessed based on the concrete action taken against those responsible, both in this instance and in previous cases.
